Jackal Attacks Cause Panic in Jugail Village

Nine individuals, among them three children, suffered injuries following a series of jackal attacks in Jugail village, prompting panic among the locals.

The incidents occurred on Friday and Saturday, with initial reports from the village head confirming a jackal's involvement, stated Forest Ranger Avadhesh Kumar Singh on Saturday.

A comprehensive evaluation is underway. Forest department officials are scheduled to assess and address the situation on Sunday, aiming to capture the jackal. The wounded residents received care at the Community Health Centre in Chopan, where they were given first aid and essential vaccinations, according to officials.
