Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has unveiled a comprehensive plan to leverage the Union Budget to its fullest. The strategy includes integrating the proposed Narela education hub among new university townships and establishing content creator labs to promote the AVGC sector, aligning schools and colleges with these innovative initiatives.
Highlighting the budget's benefits, Gupta emphasized significant allocations for Delhi, including an increase in special assistance and funds for centrally sponsored schemes. These funds will enhance infrastructure, water supply, and other essential services, boosting Delhi's growth trajectory and addressing key urban development challenges.
Among the notable announcements, Gupta mentioned the Delhi-Varanasi high-speed rail corridor. This initiative is set to transform the capital's transport infrastructure, facilitating trade, tourism, and employment, and reinforcing Delhi's position as a pivotal economic and transport hub in India.
