Delhi Forms Dedicated Cell for Streamlined Urban Development

The Delhi government has established a special internal cell focused on enhancing collaboration among agencies involved in urban development. This 20-member cell, including officials from essential departments like the Delhi Jal Board, Public Works Department, and others, was established following a meeting headed by Delhi's Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta. The primary function of this team is to submit draft compliance reports and coordinate inter-departmental issues effectively.

It also aims to optimize developmental efforts by merging plans and avoiding redundant road-cuttings. Agencies involved have been instructed to adhere to strict timelines and engage with the cell consistently to ensure successful project execution.
