The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has initiated an approach to bolster city sanitation by identifying and addressing gaps in current services, officials revealed on Wednesday.
The initiative, spurred by growing concerns of urban littering, seeks to refine waste management and cleanliness across the city.
Each city zone is tasked with devising a 'Ward Sanitation Management Plan' that aligns with available manpower and machinery resources. Temporary resources might be deployed for up to six months, with reassessment to ensure sustained sanitation improvements.
