The intense fire in a four-storey building early Sunday claimed nine lives, including Sonali Jain's family members. Locals reported victims were alive even as the blaze intensified, expressing frustration over rescue delays and equipment inefficiencies.
However, fire officials refuted these allegations, asserting that emergency teams arrived promptly and faced substantial challenges due to the fire's severity. The incident has left residents deeply disturbed and reconsidering their future in Vivek Vihar.
