The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather forecast warning, predicting thunderstorms accompanied by rain, lightning, and gusty winds across multiple districts in Odisha over the coming six days.
An 'orange warning,' urging preparedness, is in place for districts including Sambalpur, Angul, and Keonjhar, while a 'yellow warning' encourages vigilance in places like Mayurbhanj and Bhubaneswar.
Amidst this forecast, parts of the state, such as Boudh and Jharsuguda, have recently experienced temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, adding to the weather challenges residents face.
