Andhra govt forms implementation panel to facilitate institutional capacities deal with Singapore
The government hereby appoints its members for the Joint Implementation Working Committee JIWC for coordination, facilitation, and monitoring of activities under the referenced MoU deal with Singapore, Peeyush Kumar, principal secretary, Planning Department said in a government order.

The Andhra Pradesh government on Friday constituted a JIWC to facilitate an agreement with Singapore to strengthen institutional capacities. The southern state and the government of the Republic of Singapore entered into an agreement on November 14, 2025 to establish a framework of cooperation for strengthening institutional capacities in areas, including sustainable urban governance, digital governance, real-time governance, human resource development and sustainable economic development. ''The government hereby appoints its members for the Joint Implementation Working Committee (JIWC) for coordination, facilitation, and monitoring of activities under the referenced MoU (deal with Singapore),'' Peeyush Kumar, principal secretary, Planning Department said in a government order. JIWC members include Kumar, Anant Shankar, joint secretary and VR Alaparthi, executive director from the Planning Department, Prakhar Jain, chief executive, Real Time Governance System (RTGS) and Datti Surendra, joint financial advisor, Finance Department. The Andhra-Singapore agreement mandates the establishment of a Joint Implementation Steering Committee (JISC) to provide leadership and direction for the implementation of the deal while JIWC will oversee the deliverables. The JIWC will also oversee the implementation activities and report to the JISC, the GO added.
