An elderly man lost his life due to a wild elephant's rampage in Bihar's Nawada district, authorities reported on Tuesday.
The tragic incident unfolded at 6 am, as the tusker strayed into Kawakol village, causing destruction to property and sparking fear among the locals.
District Forestry Officer Shreshth Kumar Krishna stated that precautionary steps are in place, and forest teams are working to guide the elephant back to Chatra forest.
