The storm uprooted 20 to 30 deodar trees, causing significant financial losses to the forest department. The Eco Park's adventure facilities suffered heavy damage, impacting zip lines, commando nets, and cycling tracks. Uprooted trees also damaged the tehsil residential quarters, a local hospital, and hotels. Forest Range Officer Latika Uniyal confirmed that inspections and follow-ups are underway while locals urge the authorities for immediate compensation for the damage.

The India Meteorological Department anticipates light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall in higher regions on Saturday. Rains have cooled areas like Chamoli and Rudraprayag, affecting ongoing pilgrimage activities. Police are assisting stranded pilgrims who face treacherous conditions.
