Massive Earthquake Hits Samar, Philippines; No Tsunami Expected

An earthquake of 6.5 magnitudes struck the island of Samar in the Philippines on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
