Packers' LaFleur laments lack of big plays

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur plans to push for big plays in 2020. LaFleur, who guided Green Bay to a 13-3 record in his debut season with the Packers, told ESPN in a radio interview that explosive plays are a focus of improvement for his team this season.

"One we really need to improve on is creating more explosive plays," LaFleur said. "We were pretty efficient ... but were 23rd in explosive plays. That starts with play calling maybe take a few more chances to help generate those plays down the field." The Packers did not draft a wide receiver, and Devin Funchess was the lone skill-position player acquired in free agency.

Green Bay did draft a quarterback -- Jordan Love -- in the first round despite the presence of Aaron Rodgers. Running back A.J.
