Google Doodle celebrates 2018 Asian Games

Asian games to have a variety of sports like boxing, aquatics, cycling, kabaddi, karate, shooting, squash, football, badminton, equestrian, rowing, weightlifting etc.

Indonesia will be hosting 18^th Asian games from 18^th August-2^nd September. Palembang and Jakarta will be hosting the multi-sport event. The opening and closing ceremonies of the Games will be held at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta. Google Doodle celebrates the 2018 Asian Games.

All 45 nations of Olympic Council of Asia will be competing in this mega event.

Earlier, On 13 July 2018, the Indonesian Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC) released an official music album of the 18^th Asian games titled Asian Games 2018: Energy of Asia. The album consists of 13 songs involves several cross-genre musical artists.

The torch relay for 2018 Asian games began at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi, host of the 1st Asian Games, on 15 July 2018. It ended on 17 August 2018 in Jakarta before being carried into the opening ceremony at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on 18^th August 2018.
