Haryana Steelers, U Mumba share spoils; Thalaivas beat Yoddha 39-33 in PKL

U Mumba held Haryana Steelers to a 24-24 tie in a low-scoring match, while Tamil Thalaivas outwitted Yoddha 39-33 in a thriller at the Pro Kabaddi League here on Tuesday.

While captain Fazel Atrachali had 4 points in defence for Mumbai, Haryana had themselves to blame after allowing Abhishek Singh to make a valid final raid of the match with scores tied and no time remaining.

All-rounder Rohit Gulia scored 8 points for the Steelers.

In the other match, Manjeet (7 points) and substitute Ajinkya Pawar (6 points) were impressive among the raiders for Thalaivas, while defenders Sagar (5 points) and Surjeet Singh (3 points) backed them up efficiently. The young raider immediately got a raid point to reduce Haryana to three men on the mat.
