One day after a rough Game 1 performance, Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal wasn't in the team's starting lineup for Saturday's Game 2 of the National League Championship Series against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Austin Barnes drew the catching duties as Los Angeles attempts to even the series.

Grandal committed two errors -- one on catcher's interference -- and two passed balls on Friday as the Dodgers dropped a 6-5 decision.

"I think it was a matter of minimizing damage and we weren't able to do that," Grandal told reporters after Game 1. "Obviously, I was a part of it, so I take that upon myself."

Grandal is also struggling with the bat in the postseason. He is 2-for-17 with one homer and seven strikeouts after going 1-for-4 and fanning twice on Friday.

Grandal batted .241 with 24 homers and 68 RBIs in the regular season. He committed seven errors and had nine passed balls.
