A devastating fire at Finnish top-tier side IF Gnistan's Oulunkyla Stadium has gutted their facilities, leaving the club without a place to play for the rest of the season. The blaze destroyed the stadium's main stand, storage facilities, dressing rooms, and all the property inside.

Promoted to the top Veikkausliiga this season, Gnistan lost all their equipment, leading to the postponement of their upcoming home match against IFK Mariehamn. 'It is very unlikely that we'll play at the field. This is a terrible tragedy; all the equipment and everything is burnt, and the men's and women's teams have nothing at the moment,' club chair Risto Murto told Finnish broadcaster YLE.

The club is now urgently searching for an alternative venue to complete the season. Thankfully, no injuries were reported from the fire.
