The San Francisco Unicorns secured a gripping three-run triumph over MI New York in a dramatic Major League Cricket match at Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas. Corey Anderson's unbeaten 59 earned him praises and a crucial 19th over by Pat Cummins was instrumental in defending their total of 148/7.

MI New York struggled initially, losing Ruben Clinton for a duck in the second over. Dewald Brevis' aggressive 56 and Nicholas Pooran's 26 brought them hope, but a series of wickets put increasing pressure. Brody Couch's double blow, removing Brevis and skipper Pollard, left MI New York struggling.

Richards' late effort brought excitement, but Pat Cummins' economical penultimate over sealed the deal. Earlier, the Unicorns endured a rocky start, reduced to 28/4 in the powerplay. Anderson and Hassan Khan's 87-run partnership revitalized their innings, setting a defendable target. The match ended with MI New York on 145/7, narrowly missing out on the chase.
