Announced during an impressive evening event on Wednesday, it was confirmed that the GCC will host the inaugural PWR World Series in March 2025.
The newly established PWR aims to bring regional pickleball organizations under a unified governance structure, enhancing the sport's management and securing its future. Meanwhile, the PWR World Tour will offer multiple regional tours such as the PWR CPA Pro Tour and the PWR China Collegiate Pickleball Tour, providing pathways to the World Series.
CEO and Founder of PWR, Pranav Kohli, expressed his excitement about the platform's potential to elevate pickleball, offering a record $15 million in prize money for the World Tour and $1.5 million for the GCC event.
