Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen's victory over Kevin Cordon in the Paris Olympics men's singles Group L opener has been invalidated after Cordon withdrew due to a left elbow injury. Star Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen's initial victory in the men's singles Group L match has been rendered null and void due to the withdrawal of his Guatemalan opponent, Kevin Cordon, from the Paris Olympics because of a left elbow injury.

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) confirmed that Cordon's remaining Group L matches against Indonesia's Jonatan Christie and Belgium's Julien Carraggi have been canceled, and match schedules have been adjusted accordingly.

With Cordon's exit, Group L will now feature only three players: Jonatan Christie, Julien Carraggi, and Lakshya Sen. Sen will play against Carraggi on Monday and conclude the group stage with a match against Christie on Wednesday.
