The league's debut season will feature a total of 40 matches, with 33 dedicated to men and seven to women, guaranteeing fans a comprehensive high-octane T20 cricket experience.

The league, chaired by retired IAS officer Bimal Julka, promises smooth execution under his experienced leadership. DPL aims to set new standards in cricket leagues by focusing on nurturing local talent and promoting equal representation. DDCA President Rohan Jaitley expressed his excitement, highlighting that the league is a significant step toward providing equal opportunities for male and female cricketers.
