Sri Lanka's bowlers produced a disciplined effort to hold India to 137/9 in the third and final T20I on Tuesday. Despite a delayed start due to a wet outfield, the Lankan bowlers thrived on the slow pitch.
Spinners Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana led the charge with a combined five wickets, effectively stifling the Indian batting lineup. Shubman Gill was the only bright spot for India, scoring 39, while Riyan Parag added 26.
Although India had already secured a 2-0 series lead, they struggled to build momentum in this match, underlining Sri Lanka's strong bowling performance.
