Praggnanandhaa, who emerged as the star of the opening season and won the Player of the Tournament award, expressed his excitement about returning for another challenging season, especially after having had the opportunity to play alongside top players like Carlsen.

US Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura, along with several other high-ranking players such as Wei Yi and Vidit Gujrathi, are also part of the Superstar Men line-up. The tournament will follow a double round-robin format with teams playing 10 games each, and the winner being determined through a best-of-six board scoring system.
