The seasoned goalkeeper's saves were crucial, particularly after India's key defender Amit Rohidas received a red card early in the match.
Despite being reduced to 10 men, India displayed a formidable defense, holding Great Britain to a 1-1 draw in regular time. Manpreet Singh, normally a midfielder, was tasked with bolstering the defense, and the team adapted commendably under pressure.
Captain Harmanpreet Singh lauded Sreejesh's efforts but emphasized the collective effort of the team. "We focused on our structure and communication, playing our best defense despite the circumstances," Harmanpreet said.
