Paris St Germain Signs Midfielder Desire Doue

Paris St Germain has signed 19-year-old midfielder Desire Doue from Rennes on a five-year deal worth 50 million euros. Doue, who joined Rennes at age five, expressed his joy and pride at joining PSG. He has made 57 league appearances and recently helped France win a silver medal at the Olympics.

In a decisive move, Paris St Germain has secured the signing of 19-year-old midfielder Desire Doue from Rennes. The five-year deal, reportedly valued at 50 million euros, will see Doue remain at PSG until 2029.

Doue, who has been with Rennes since he was five years old, could not hide his joy and pride at the signing, stating, 'It is a great joy to join Paris St Germain. I feel excitement but also a lot of happiness and pride. It's a dream come true today.'

Having made his senior debut for Rennes in 2022, Doue has already clocked 57 league appearances and scored seven goals. Additionally, he was part of the French team that recently clinched a silver medal at the Olympic Games. PSG kicked off their title defence in style with a 4-1 victory against Le Havre on Friday.
