Pegula struggled with her serve, hitting five double faults. Sabalenka broke in the fourth game after a forehand error from Pegula and closed out the first set with an unreturnable serve.

In the second set, Sabalenka broke again early but allowed Pegula one break point. Sabalenka clinched victory with a powerful forehand, securing her sixth WTA 1000 title and rising to number two in the rankings ahead of the U.S. Open next week.
