India is set to face arch-rival Pakistan on October 6, as per the revamped fixtures for the Women's T20 World Cup, released by the ICC. The tournament kicks off on October 3.

The competition, initially planned for Bangladesh, was moved to Dubai and Sharjah because of security concerns amid political unrest.

Featuring a total of 23 matches, the event will see India, defending champion Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka in one group and South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland in another.
