Despite modest performances at the BMW Championships, Indian Americans Sahith Theegala, Akshay Bhatia, and Indo-British Aaron Rai are set to compete in the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Course starting Thursday.

Theegala, seeded 11th, will start 3-under; Bhatia, seeded 26th, starts 2-under; and Rai, who tied 43rd in the BMW Championship, will start even par. Scottie Scheffler is the top seed, beginning the tournament at 10-under.

The Tour Championship finale determines the FedEx Cup winner, concluding the three-tournament FedEx Cup playoffs. The playoffs feature the top 70 golfers, whittled down to 30 for the final. Notable performances include Keegan Bradley's win at the BMW Championships and Hideki Matsuyama as the highest-ranked Asian golfer, starting 7-under at East Lake.
