Despite being born without arms, Devi scored an impressive 703 points, narrowly missing the world record set by Oznur Girdi Cure of Turkey, who scored 704 points.
This achievement propelled Devi directly into the round of 16, where she will face the winner of the match between Mariana Zuniga of Chile and Choi Na Mi of Korea.
