Indian Rowers Secure Bronze in Mixed PR3 Double Sculls at Paris Paralympics

Indian rowers Anita and Narayana Konganapalle clinched third place in the mixed PR3 double sculls event at the Paris Paralympics with a time of 7:54.33s. The duo will compete in Final B for rankings between 7th and 12th place. Both athletes have remarkable backgrounds with significant achievements.

Indian rowers Anita and Narayana Konganapalle achieved a third-place finish in the mixed PR3 double sculls event at the Paris Paralympics on Saturday.

The dynamic duo clocked an impressive time of 7:54.33 seconds, trailing Ukraine and Great Britain who finished with times of 7:29.24 and 7:20.53 respectively.

Both athletes have compelling stories of resilience. Anita, who lost her leg in a road accident at the age of 18, won the gold medal in the World Rowing Asian and Oceanian Paralympic Qualifiers this year.

Konganapalle, an ex-soldier with the Rashtriya Rifles, lost his leg in a mine blast in Jammu and Kashmir in 2015. He has also won gold medals in the World Rowing Asian and Oceanian Paralympic Qualifiers and the Asian Rowing Virtual Indoor Championship.
