In a thrilling quarterfinal of the 63rd Subroto Cup Junior Boys International Football Tournament, Govt. Secondary School, Arunachal Pradesh secured a 4-3 comeback win over Lord Krishna SSS, Haryana after being 1-3 down. Byabang's impressive hat-trick and Tage's decisive goal sealed their spot in the semi-finals.
Haryana's Yaman and Sonu initially put their team ahead, with Sameer extending the lead. Arunachal fought back with Byabang scoring in the 24th minute and twice more in quick succession to level the scores. Tage clinched the winner in a nail-biting finish.
In other quarterfinals, Myngken Christian Higher Secondary School vanquished Minerva Public School, Mohali 3-1, Sri Lanka Schools Football Association edged RMSA High School, Mizoram 2-1, and T.G English School, Manipur defeated Amenity Public School, Uttarakhand 1-0.
