India's impressive performance at the Paralympic Games continued unabated, with javelin thrower Navdeep Singh securing an unparalleled gold in the F41 classification, and visually impaired sprinter Simran clinching a bronze in the women's 200m (T12) on Saturday.

Navdeep, who competes in the short stature classification, initially achieved a silver with a 47.32m throw, surpassing world record holder Sun Pengxiang from China. His medal was later upgraded to gold after Iran's Sadegh Beit Sayah was disqualified for repeatedly displaying an objectionable flag.

Simran, guided by Abhay Singh, clocked a personal best of 24.75 seconds to secure a bronze in the women's 200m (T12) event, lifting India's tally to 29 medals. However, Indian para-cyclists Arshad Shaik and Jyoti Gaderiya and swimmer Suyash Jadhav faced challenges, wrapping up their campaigns without medals.
