India prepares for a historic Davis Cup victory against Sweden in the World Group I contest beginning September 14. Despite missing key players, the team remains optimistic given Sweden's non-intimidating lineup. India is gearing up for a historic victory against Sweden in the Davis Cup World Group I contest, set to commence on September 14.

Despite the absence of top players Sumit Nagal and Yuki Bhambri, the Indian team remains hopeful. The squad believes it can finally break its winless streak against Sweden, a feat considered achievable given Sweden's relatively non-intimidating line-up.

Leading India's charge is Ramkumar Ramanathan, pivotal on day one. Captain Rohit Rajpal faces crucial decisions about the second singles, possibly involving doubles specialist N Sriram Balaji. Sweden's players, like their singles ace Elias Ymer and formidable doubles players, present a stiff challenge but do not dampen India's prospects.
