Rafa Nadal Joins Spain's Davis Cup Final Eight Squad

Former world number one, Rafa Nadal, has been named to Spain's Davis Cup Final Eight squad, organizers announced. The team will also feature Carlos Alcaraz, Roberto Bautista Agut, Pablo Carreno Busta, and Marcel Granollers. Spain faces the Netherlands in the quarter-finals starting on Nov. 19.

Former world number one Rafael Nadal has been included in Spain's Davis Cup Final Eight squad, organizers confirmed on Monday.

Along with the 38-year-old Nadal, the team will feature world number three Carlos Alcaraz, Roberto Bautista Agut, Pablo Carreno Busta, and Marcel Granollers.

Nadal, who last competed at the Paris Olympics, had to pull out from both the U.S. Open and last weekend's Laver Cup due to fitness issues. Spain's quarter-final match against the Netherlands is set to begin on Nov. 19.
