In the 14th Hockey India Sub Junior Men National Championship quarter-finals held at the Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh Hockey, Hockey Association of Odisha, Hockey Punjab, and Hockey Haryana emerged victorious, earning their spots in the semi-finals.
Uttar Pradesh Hockey clinched a 4-3 win over Hockey Jharkhand with goals from Ujjwal Pal, Ajay Kumar Gond, Prahalad Rajbhar, and Captain Ketan Kushwaha. Hockey Jharkhand saw goals from Hassa Patras and Purti Ashish Tani.
The Hockey Association of Odisha delivered a commanding 5-0 performance against Dadra & Nagar Haveli And Daman & Diu Hockey, with standout contributions from Sujit Barla, Mandeep Kerketta, and Mithles Kerketta. Punjab edged Hockey Madhya Pradesh 2-1, thanks to Sunny's quick double and a goal from Captain Aashir Adil Khan. Hockey Haryana also secured their semi-final spot, narrowly defeating Hockey Chandigarh 1-0 with Rohit Singh's decisive goal.
