Young Boys Shake Up: Coach Patrick Rahmen Fired Amidst Struggles

Young Boys have dismissed coach Patrick Rahmen after disappointing performances in the Champions League and domestic league. Rahmen, who helped the team qualify for the Champions League, managed only one victory in nine games. Joël Magnin takes interim charge as Young Boys prepare to face Inter Milan.

In the wake of severe defeats in the Champions League and a poor league standing, Young Boys decided to part ways with their coach Patrick Rahmen. The decision was announced on Tuesday and highlights struggles for the Swiss Super League team.

Patrick Rahmen's tenure, which began with high hopes after securing a spot in the Champions League through an unexpected victory over Galatasaray, saw a dismal performance with only one win in nine league matches.

Young Boys struggled in their initial Champions League matches, suffering heavy losses against Barcelona and Aston Villa. Joël Magnin, who previously led the team to a Swiss title, will temporarily lead as Young Boys get ready to face Inter Milan on October 23.
