Ishan Kishan's Return: Leading Jharkhand to Ranji Glory

Ishan Kishan returns as the captain of the Jharkhand Ranji team after a controversial absence that cost him a BCCI central contract. Balancing domestic and franchise cricket, he hopes to lead a young squad to success in the Ranji Trophy this season.

Star cricketer Ishan Kishan has made a dramatic return as the captain of the Jharkhand Ranji team, following his controversial absence last season that saw him miss out on a BCCI central contract. Kishan's comeback marks a significant chapter in his career after he opted out of the domestic circuit amid criticism.

Returning to action, the left-handed batsman showcased his prowess in domestic tournaments, notably scoring a century in the Duleep Trophy. His efforts have not gone unnoticed as he now leads Jharkhand, a team keen on bettering last season's performance in the Ranji Trophy.

Jharkhand's selection committee, headed by Subroto Das, has expressed confidence in Kishan's leadership. With a young squad under his command and the experience garnered from the international scene, Kishan aims to steer Jharkhand towards a promising Ranji campaign against Assam in Elite Group D.
