Fiji Winger Semi Radradra's Disciplinary Setback
Fiji's Semi Radradra has been handed a three-week ban after a red card incident against Wales, leading to his absence in matches against Spain and Ireland. His ban may be reduced if he participates in a World Rugby coaching intervention. Radradra could return for his club on Nov. 30.
Fiji's renowned winger, Semi Radradra, will sit out this month's international rugby fixtures against Spain and Ireland. The absence follows a three-week ban imposed on him for a red card offense during Fiji's narrow victory over Wales.
Radradra's sending-off marked a first under the new 20-minute red card rule. Initially yellow-carded, his foul play was then elevated to a red following a high hit on Wales fullback Cameron Winnett.
Despite this setback, Radradra's suspension might reduce to two weeks should he commit to World Rugby's coaching intervention. He remains on track for a potential club return on November 30.
