Bopanna and Ebden's ATP Finals Dream Dims After Consecutive Losses

Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden's run at the ATP Finals 2024 is nearly over following a second defeat. The pair lost to top-seeds Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic. This marks the end of Bopanna and Ebden's partnership, who will face Kevin Krawietz and Tim Putz next.

Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden's journey at the ATP Finals 2024 seems to have reached a premature end. The duo faced their second straight defeat, falling to the top-seeded team of Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic in a 68-minute clash.

This tournament signals the conclusion of Bopanna and Ebden's two-year partnership. The pair initially suffered a setback against Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori in their opening match at the prestigious event.

Despite a slim chance of advancement to the semifinals, Bopanna and Ebden are set to face Kevin Krawietz and Tim Putz. Earlier in the year, they achieved the world No. 1 spot after triumphing at the Australian Open and made it to the semifinals at Roland Garros.
