Yashasvi Jaiswal Strengthens Mumbai for Ranji Trophy Semifinals

Yashasvi Jaiswal joins the Mumbai squad for the Ranji Trophy semifinal against Vidarbha. After defeating Haryana in the quarterfinal, Mumbai aims to replicate their past success against Vidarbha. Jaiswal, who played an influential role in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, was initially in India's Champions Trophy squad.

Indian cricket sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal has been called up to fortify the Mumbai team as they prepare to face Vidarbha in the Ranji Trophy semifinals. The clash is set for February 17 in Nagpur.

Mumbai aims to continue their dominant form after a decisive 152-run victory over Haryana in Kolkata. Jaiswal, who recently made his ODI debut, looks to make an impact after his participation in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

The semifinal game revisits last season's finale, where Mumbai claimed their 42nd Ranji title against Vidarbha. The selection was finalized by Mumbai Cricket Association's senior committee, strengthening the squad with top talents like Ajinkya Rahane and Suryakumar Yadav.
