Cricket legend Kapil Dev on Friday conveyed his well-wishes to Rohit Sharma and the Indian cricket team as they gear up for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The competition will see eight teams competing in 15 matches across Pakistan and Dubai from February 19 to March 9.

Addressing the media in Kolkata, Kapil Dev emphasized the significance of teamwork over individual brilliance. 'I wish the team all the best and urge them not to rely on one player for victory,' he stated firmly.

The tournament's high-stakes clash between India and Pakistan is slated for February 23. Meanwhile, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is ruled out due to a back injury, with Harshit Rana stepping in as his replacement according to an announcement by the BCCI.
