Featuring 30 teams split across eight pools in the preliminary stage, the tournament promises intense battles as only top-ranked teams will proceed to the knockouts.
Haryana asserted their authority prominently, with Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) stars Ashu Malik and Mohit Goyat leading a dominant 50-20 win over Telangana. Railways' experienced squad delivered a clinical 59-27 victory against Manipur, reflecting their competitive edge in Pool B.
Madhya Pradesh displayed commendable prowess with a 59-35 triumph over Andhra Pradesh in Pool D. Meanwhile, hosts Odisha signaled their intention to compete fiercely, as young PKL talent Rohit Raghav guided them to a 57-28 success against Vidarbha in Pool F.
