The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has dismissed an appeal by Luis Rubiales, former head of Spanish soccer, who was barred from any football-related activity. The ban came after he non-consensually kissed player Jenni Hermoso during the 2023 Women's World Cup final.

In October 2023, FIFA sanctioned Rubiales for three years, a decision upheld by an appeals committee in January. Rubiales took his appeal to CAS, seeking to overturn or reduce the penalty.

CAS ruled that Rubiales' behavior constituted multiple violations of the FIFA Disciplinary Code. Meanwhile, Spain's High Court found Rubiales guilty of sexual assault and imposed a fine and a restraining order.
