Shah noted the transformation in perception towards the differently-abled, hailing PM Modi's efforts to foster respect and confidence. The Gujarat government, under Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, has significantly increased investment in sports, with a budget hike from Rs 2 crore in 2002 to Rs 352 crore today.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed to enhance digital services in Gandhinagar, demonstrating a commitment to citizen-oriented initiatives. These efforts align with the broader aim of improving sports facilities across the state, reinforcing Gujarat's leading position in India's sports domain.
