Kerala Blasters FC started aggressively, nearly breaking the deadlock in the opening minutes. Korou Singh and Mohammed Aimen combined skillfully, leading to a corner that Aimen delivered precisely for Dusan Lagator's seventh-minute header, placing the visitors ahead.
