Rajasthan Royals' captain Sanju Samson has lauded the leadership prowess of former Indian skipper and head coach Rahul Dravid. According to the franchise's official site, Samson is eager to absorb the leadership traits displayed by Dravid. With the IPL season approaching, the duo is set to reunite in the Royals' colors, facing Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23 at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
Samson expressed deep admiration for Dravid, noting his exemplary conduct both on and off the field. In a special feature on JioHotstar, he explained, 'There is a lot to learn from him as a character,' as reported by the official RR website. Dravid, a former RR captain, played a crucial role in Samson's debut season in 2013, where he shone by scoring 206 runs in 10 innings.
Highlighting Dravid's lasting impression, Samson reminisced about Dravid's thoughtful mentorship approach during RR's 2014 season.
