The Committee of Administrators lifts the suspension on Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul. Further investigation is underway. CoA in a statement, "The matter and decision have been taken with the concurrence of Amicus Curiae, P.S. Narasimha. In view of the above, the suspension orders dated 11.01.2019 is immediately lifted pending appointment and adjudication of the allegations by the BCCI Ombudsman"
Earlier Hardik Pandya had told Karan Johar on 'Koffee with Karan' that he liked to watch women move in a nightclub. He also boasted about telling his parents about the number of women he had slept with, even pointing them out at a party, and said his family was proud of him for it.
Later Hardik Pandya apologised on Twitter for the comments, saying he "got a bit carried away with the nature of the show" and meant no disrespect to anyone. Rahul, who had spoken on the show about how they decided which women to hit upon, has also apologised.
Karan Johar also regrets the aftermath of Pandya, Rahul remarks and feel very responsible. He said "I have to say that I feel very responsible because it was my show and my platform. I invited them as guests, and so the ramifications and the repercussions of the show are my responsibility.
