U Mumba TT captured their inaugural Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) championship, prevailing over Jaipur Patriots with an emphatic 8-4 scoreline in the Season 6 Grand Finale held on Sunday. The victory, highlighted by exceptional performances from Lilian Bardet and Bernadette Szocs, set the tone early on.

Szocs, alongside Akash Pal, excelled in the mixed doubles with a clear 3-0 win. The title was eventually secured by the young talent Abhinandh PB, who delivered a clutch performance in the fourth match. U Mumba's campaign was strategically managed by coaches John Murphy and Jay Modak.

In recognition of their final performances, Akash and Szocs received accolades as the Indian and Foreign Player of the Final. The league, backed by the Table Tennis Federation of India, saw all 23 ties unfold at Ahmedabad's EKA Arena over 16 thrilling days.
