Irish striker Evan Ferguson has moved to AS Roma on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, hoping to rejuvenate his career after experiencing several tough seasons.

Ferguson joined Brighton in 2021, making an immediate impact with a commendable 2022-23 season, but injuries later stunted his momentum. During his last season, he struggled to secure a starting spot and went on loan to West Ham United with limited success.

Now under the guidance of Roma's new manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, known for transforming struggling players into stars, Ferguson is optimistic about a fresh start. This move has sparked excitement among Roma fans, eager to see the young Irishman back in action.
