Purani Dilli 6 Ready for Another Thrilling Season in DPL

Purani Dilli 6 is set to start their 2024 Delhi Premier League campaign on August 4. This year, the team boasts a strong lineup with star players like Rishabh Pant. The top four teams of the league's two groups will advance to playoffs, culminating in the final on August 31.

As the 2024 edition of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) unfolds, Purani Dilli 6, one of the semi-finalists, is prepared to embark on their second-season journey. Their campaign kicks off on August 4 against the West Delhi Lions at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Owner Akash Nangia expressed his enthusiasm about the upcoming season, highlighting the well-balanced team composition filled with talent and experience. The group stage matches promise thrilling encounters with the New Delhi Tigers, Outer Delhi Warriors, and South Delhi Superstarz, climaxing with a showdown against the Central Delhi Kings on August 26.

This year, the DPL has divided its eight participating teams into two groups. Group B, in which Purani Dilli 6 competes, also includes West Delhi Lions, East Delhi Riders, and South Delhi Superstarz. Group A features Outer Delhi Warriors, Central Delhi Kings, New Delhi Tigers, and North Delhi Strikers. The playoff structure is designed to lead the top teams to a grand final on August 31, with a reserve day set for September 1.
