Amongst the highlights are the Ultra-marathons: The Khardung La Challenge, spanning 72km, and the Silk Route Ultra, a staggering 122km journey. Runners will traverse from Kyagar Village, across Khardung La, into Leh Market, with elevations reaching up to 17,618 ft. According to Chewang Motup Goba, Chairperson of the High Altitude Sports Foundation, the marathon is not just a race but a testament to human endurance, showcasing a 'fitter India' embracing challenges with gusto.
