Nazara Technologies Ltd, a prominent gaming and sports media company, expressed confidence on Wednesday that its financial health will remain intact despite the introduction of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025.

The company emphasized that it has no direct involvement in real money gaming (RMG) businesses. This statement was part of a regulatory filing where Nazara assured stakeholders that both its revenue and EBITDA figures for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025-26 show no contribution from RMG activities.

Although Nazara holds a 46.07 percent stake in Moonshine Technologies Pvt Ltd, which operates PokerBaazi, this investment does not consolidate Moonshine's revenue into Nazara’s financial statements, leaving their financial results unaffected. Nazara has invested Rs 805 crore in equity shares of Moonshine and holds Rs 255 crore in compulsory convertible shares.
